Atinkut Belete

Atinkut Belete is a dedicated Health Officer and former footballer with over 10 years of professional experience in the medical field. Known for his compassion, discipline, and deep understanding of both health and sports, Atinkut plays a vital role in combining medical expertise with athletic performance within the Dereje Gebre Project.

He completed his medical studies at Black Lion Hospital, one of Ethiopia’s leading medical institutions, where he developed strong skills in clinical care, injury management, and physical rehabilitation. Over the years, Atinkut has become known not only as a skilled medical assistant but also as one of the most respected and capable coaches within the project. His leadership, mentorship, and commitment to player well-being make him an invaluable part of the Dereje Gebre Project’s mission to develop complete athletes — strong in both body and mind.

With over a decade of service in healthcare and sports, Atinkut Belete continues to inspire players and colleagues alike through his professionalism, passion, and dedication to excellence on and off the field.
